At his core, I think MKBHD really wants to be at the heart of consumer tech accessories and software, he just struggles with finding something with broad appeal. Very surprising that other big YouTubers (Mr. Beast, Peter McKinnon, etc) have done strikingly better in this area even with tons of diverse followers/fans.
And I was trying something different with the what-if product suggestions. Haha
I agree with your take here, too. I think tech youtubers haven't really found the path ahead, out of YouTube. He even tried that Masterclass series, which was supposed be like a web series ig. I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote a book. Maybe it's coming...

I watched a portion of his Masterclass since I'm a subscriber. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a book was coming as well. Haha
