How long have you been putting off investing in software for your business?
If your answer is longer than you’d like to admit, you’re not alone. Tech is something I was originally hesitant to invest in, too. Tech is an intimidating investment for many founders as it seems expensive at face value. I was convinced that tech couldn’t replace a human, much the same way I feel about AI, and I was right. Tech can’t replace a human, but it can help you become more efficient as a solopreneur or solo creator. Human labor will also always be more costly than a SaaS tool, so any way you can increase your productivity and build your systems before hiring someone, is now advice I give in earnest. Ultimately, that’s the name of the game: efficiency. Having repeatable systems that just work.
On the flip side, it's very easy for chronically online founders to sign up for every shiny new app or A.I. SaaS that's trending on their Twitter feed. This often leads to disorganized workflows, overcomplicated workflows, loss of momentum from learning new tools, and, most importantly, incredibly bloated subscription costs.
Let's take a look at Rootful’s tech stack and what to consider when building your own.
